Being gay doesn’t make us less as a person, neither make us an object to make fun with. It is hard to go out with all the uncertainty present, as the society is not yet ready for our uniqueness. We shine brighter than a star, our glamour is extraordinary, and I think that’s what they cannot handle about us.
They don’t know the hardships we’ve been through, from confessing to our parents, to making the society accept us and all the teases, mockery, physical pain and emotional damage we have experienced. Those days we fought to defend our rights as a human. Those battered days we’ve been through, and all those pain inflicted upon us. It’s exhausting, and then became a routine. But we should not let that happen again, you should realize that these need to stop. So I dare you to step out of that closet of yours. I demand you to show your true self to the universe. We have nothing to be ashamed of. We can do what they can do, their rights are also are rights ! So I implore you, come out now. Are you scared of all the criticisms? Are you scared of the consequences? Are you afraid that you’ll be left alone? Well, burn those thoughts right now, as you are not alone. We are here for you. You will not face the path all by yourself, will be there with you. We, gay people help each other out, as we know what you are feeling and experiences you’ve been through.
Don’t be afraid to show yourself to the world, you are worth more than what they think you are.We are the precious gem stones, alive and breathing in this wold. Don’t let others make your shine dull. Let love dominate our actions and not hatred.
